Day 1: Embark Hamilton Island, Whitsunday Group. Make way for Whitehaven Beach where we will spend the afternoon - voted one of the "top ten beaches in the world"... famous for its pure white silica sand, backed by verdant rainforest and shallow turquoise waters.

Day 2: Go ashore at Tongue Point for a short tropical forest walk to the lookout. Then up to Cateran Bay and anchor for lunch. Short cruise to picturesque Nara Inlet for the night.

Day 3: Hook Island - Anchored in the narrow channel of Nara Inlet - hike to some aboriginal rock paintings or explore the island shores by sea kayak. Off to Hayman Island's Blue Pearl Bay for some great snorkeling (giant clams, reef fish, coral and much more) or other watersports.

Day 4: Spend the morning snorkeling at Butterfly Bay at the top of Hook Island. Cruise to Gloucester Island.

Day 5: Visit one of thousands of patch reefs on the Great Barrier Reef for some diving / snorkeling in very clear waters - head out northeast of the Whitsunday group (overnight) to a patch reef for fishing, snorkeling and other watersports.

Day 6: Overnight to Magnetic Island - quaint local 'village' atmosphere, stunning beaches and huge boulder formations, great wildlife (including koalas), explore the island by private tour, convertible moke, or walking trail. Boutiques, restaurants and Jet Ski's.

Day 7: Explore the Palm Island Group - of great significance to local aborigines. Great island scenery, more snorkeling / diving, visit the research station on Orpheus Island. Cruise through the narrow Hinchinbrook channel - amazing scenery with rugged high peaks of Hinchinbrook Island - the world's largest Island National Park. Fish for the prized Barramundi or Mangrove Jack in the estuary. Mangrove systems and world-class fishing on the inside of the island - beaches and waterfalls on the outside of the island - great scenery all-round.

Day 8: Explore the beaches and reefs of the Family Islands - anchor at Dunk Island for some jet skiing, golf, a rainforest walk... or just relax by one of the resort pools with a sunset cocktail.

Day 9: Enjoy another day out at one of a selection of patch reefs on the Great Barrier Reef and perhaps visit one of your own private sand cays for sunset drinks.

Day 10: Cruise the final leg of the rainforest-clad coast anchoring at beautiful Fitzroy Island.

Day 11: Disembark in the modern tropical city of Cairns.
